How the service works

  1. OBD diagnostic (10 min) — Professional scanner (Launch X431, Autel MaxiSys, brand-specific software for BMW/Mercedes/VAG). Reading all fault codes (active + stored), real-time parameters: DPF differential pressure, soot load in grams, exhaust gas temperature.
  2. Oxygen sensor removal (5 min) — Removal of upstream lambda sensor to access exhaust channel before DPF. No removal of DPF itself — no leakage or damage risk.
  3. Chemical injection (25-35 min) — Injection of 1 to 1.5 L of professional cleaning product into the exhaust channel. The product penetrates the ceramic substrate and dissolves soot and carbon residue.
  4. Forced regeneration (15-25 min) — Trigger of forced regeneration via OBD. ECU raises pre-DPF temperature to 580°C. Remaining soot burns off. Differential pressure drops visibly on scanner.
  5. Validation + reset (5-10 min) — Clear all fault codes, reset soot counter, validate Readiness Codes for vehicle inspection. Short test drive to confirm stable parameters.

+How does DPF cleaning without removal work?

Our technician injects a professional chemical solution directly into the exhaust channel before the DPF (via the upstream oxygen sensor port). The product penetrates the ceramic substrate, dissolves accumulated soot, then is burned off via a forced regeneration at 580°C. Total time: 60 to 90 minutes.

All diesels with DPF/FAP: Volkswagen TDI, Peugeot HDi, Renault dCi, BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Ford, Opel, Toyota, Škoda, Seat, Citroën. Compatible with Euro 4, Euro 5, and Euro 6 (Euro 6 also requires AdBlue diagnostic — see our AdBlue page).
